These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the GoraAdv website and route planning service available at goraadv.com ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Payment for GPX credit bundles is processed by Lemon Squeezy (a Stripe company), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. When you purchase a credit bundle, you enter into a payment contract with Lemon Squeezy directly, governed by Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms. GoraAdv is the licensor and service provider — these Terms govern your right to use the software and service, not the payment transaction. All purchases are one-time: there is no subscription, no recurring charge and no auto-renewal.
GoraAdv is an offroad motorcycle route planning platform. It uses OpenStreetMap map data and a custom routing algorithm to generate routes that prioritise unpaved roads, dirt tracks and gravel paths over tarmac.

The Service is provided "as is" as a planning tool. It is not a real-time navigation system. See Section 11 for the full safety disclaimer regarding route data.
The core planning features of GoraAdv can be used without registration, subject to usage limits for unregistered users (see Section 4). To save routes or access registered-user features, you must create a free account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@goraadv.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false registration information, or are used for abusive or fraudulent purposes.
All route planning features are free. The only paid feature is downloading the resulting route as a GPX file. Credits are consumed at the rate of one credit per GPX download.

Distance limits are calculated as straight-line distance between start and end point and serve as an approximate gate — actual routed distance may differ. The signup freebie requires email verification to prevent abuse.
GPX download credits are sold in fixed, one-time bundles. Indicative bundle sizes and prices at the time of writing:
All prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes. VAT handling is managed by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. Exact prices, bundle sizes and any promotional bundles are displayed at the point of purchase and govern the transaction.
Each credit bundle is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no recurring charge and no auto-renewal. No data is stored on file with GoraAdv for future charges — Lemon Squeezy handles the payment method and does not re-bill without a new, explicit purchase.
Purchased credits remain on your account indefinitely until consumed. Credits do not expire after a period of inactivity. If you delete your account, unused credits are forfeited (see Section 6.2).
Credits are granted automatically upon confirmation of successful payment from Lemon Squeezy (typically within seconds of checkout). One credit is consumed for each GPX file downloaded, including per-day GPX exports where each day file counts as a separate consumption of credits — exact behaviour is indicated in the planner at the point of download.
We may change bundle prices and bundle sizes at any time. Prices in effect at the moment of your purchase govern that transaction. Price changes do not affect credits already purchased.
Because credits are fulfilled immediately upon purchase (see Section 7 on the waiver of the right of withdrawal for digital content), refunds are discretionary. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact Lemon Squeezy directly via their buyer support or reply to your order confirmation email. GoraAdv will cooperate with any legitimate refund request coordinated through Lemon Squeezy. If a refund is granted, the equivalent number of unused credits will be removed from your account.
If you delete your account, any unused credits are forfeited and cannot be transferred, refunded or reinstated. Export anything you need (GPX files, saved routes) before requesting account deletion.
We reserve the right to revoke credits and refuse service in cases of fraudulent purchases, chargeback abuse, bulk scraping of GPX files, or other violations of Section 10. In such cases no refund is issued.
As a consumer in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason (§312g BGB in conjunction with Art. 246a EGBGB).
All payments for GoraAdv credit bundles are processed by Lemon Squeezy (a Stripe company), who acts as the Merchant of Record. This means Lemon Squeezy is legally the seller — your payment contract is with them, not with GoraAdv. Lemon Squeezy handles all payment compliance, VAT, consumer rights obligations, and refund processing in accordance with their Buyer Terms.
GoraAdv does not receive, process, or store any payment information, and cannot issue refunds directly.
GPX credit bundles are digital content delivered instantly (§312 (1a) BGB). GoraAdv offers a free tier and a guest mode including free GPX downloads — you can test the full product, including the GPX export, before paying anything.
Under §356(5) BGB, the right of withdrawal expires when performance of a digital-content contract has commenced and you have expressly consented to this and acknowledged that your withdrawal right expires accordingly. Lemon Squeezy's checkout presents this consent at the point of purchase. Because credits are granted and usable immediately upon successful payment, performance has commenced at that moment.
To request a refund or exercise your right of withdrawal, contact Lemon Squeezy directly via their buyer support or reply to your order confirmation email. GoraAdv will cooperate with any legitimate refund request coordinated through Lemon Squeezy. If a refund is granted, any unused credits from that purchase are removed from your account.
After downloading a GPX file you may share the route with up to 12 recipients by email in a single share action. We send each recipient a one-time invite containing a link to a dedicated landing page where they can download the GPX without creating an account.
You may only enter email addresses of people who have explicitly agreed to receive a share invite from you. The share modal requires you to confirm this consent before invites are sent. Sharing is for personal, non-commercial use (e.g. riding companions); bulk or commercial distribution is not permitted under Section 10.
Recipient email addresses are used solely to send the one-time invite and are then discarded. GoraAdv keeps only an aggregate record of share activity (who shared, how many recipients, timestamp) — no recipient names, email addresses or personal data are retained. See the Privacy Policy for the GDPR-side detail.
Each share link allows up to 50 GPX downloads in total before it is exhausted. There is no time-based expiry. You may revoke a share link at any time from your account — doing so immediately blocks any further downloads via that link.
The 50-download cap is shared among all recipients and does not consume credits from your account — the one credit spent when you downloaded your own GPX covers the share. Generating a new share link for the same route is subject to the consent and rate-limit requirements above.
Saved routes in your account are retained under the data retention terms described in the Privacy Policy until you delete the route or your account.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and (for credit-consuming features) payment of the applicable bundle price, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the GoraAdv Service for your personal, non-commercial route planning purposes.
This licence does not include the right to:
GPX files downloaded from GoraAdv may be used freely for personal navigation and shared with riding companions for trip planning purposes.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these obligations, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.
GoraAdv generates routes based on OpenStreetMap (OSM) data, which is community-maintained and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or missing entirely in some areas. Routes are provided for planning purposes only. They are not real-time navigation and are not a substitute for your own judgement and local knowledge.
Specifically:
By using GoraAdv, you acknowledge that riding offroad carries inherent risks and that you assume full responsibility for your riding decisions. GoraAdv is a planning tool — the responsibility for safe and legal riding remains entirely with you.
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Planned maintenance will be announced where practical. Unplanned downtime may occur.
We reserve the right to modify, extend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. Changes that materially reduce the core GPX-download functionality for users with unused credits will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice. If a material reduction is made, affected users may request a refund of unused credits purchased within the preceding 14 days by contacting us at info@goraadv.com; refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy.
Country coverage (available routing regions) will be expanded over time. Coverage depends on OSM data quality and our tile build process. We do not guarantee availability of specific countries or regions.
We are fully liable for damages caused by our intent (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit), and for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, regardless of the degree of fault. This liability cannot be limited or excluded.
For simple negligence (einfache Fahrlässigkeit), we are only liable for breaches of cardinal obligations — those whose fulfilment is essential to the proper performance of the contract and on whose compliance you may regularly rely. In such cases, our liability is limited to damages that were foreseeable and typical at the time the contract was formed.

GoraAdv is a planning tool. We expressly exclude liability — to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law — for any physical injury, property damage, financial loss, or other damage arising from:
Mandatory statutory liability under German law (including the German Product Liability Act — Produkthaftungsgesetz) remains unaffected by the above limitations.
The GoraAdv platform, its routing algorithm, interface design, branding, and original content are the intellectual property of Felix Witte and are protected by German and EU copyright law.
Map data displayed on GoraAdv is sourced from OpenStreetMap contributors and is made available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL). Credit: © OpenStreetMap contributors.
User-generated content uploaded to the community section (e.g., GPX tracks) remains your intellectual property. By uploading, you grant GoraAdv a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and make available that content to other users of the platform, for as long as it is hosted on the Service.
The processing of personal data in connection with the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
In summary: we collect only what is necessary to operate the Service. We do not sell data or use advertising trackers. Payment data is processed exclusively by Lemon Squeezy under their own security controls and privacy policy.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, applicable law, or business operations. Changes that materially affect your rights will be communicated by email (to registered users) and by a notice on the website at least 30 days before they take effect.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you may delete your account before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
For users with unused credits, changes that materially reduce the GPX-download service will be subject to Section 12 (Service Modifications).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The application of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply, to the extent they provide greater protection than German law.
For disputes with consumers, the place of jurisdiction is the consumer's place of residence or, at the consumer's choice, the registered address of GoraAdv (Bochum, Germany). For disputes with non-consumers, exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Bochum, Germany.
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) for consumer disputes at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Our email for ODR purposes is info@goraadv.com. We are not obliged to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board and do not do so voluntarily, but we will always try to resolve complaints directly — email us first.
